The IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) and CENELEC the European standards organization commit to further increase alignment between International and European standards.

oneM2M welcomes CEN and CENELEC as new partners

Sophia Antipolis, France, 14 June 2016: oneM2M, the global standards initiative for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced it has welcomed two new partners – CEN, the European Committee for Standardisation, and CENELEC, the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation.

As contributing “Type 2” partners, both CEN and CENELEC can now influence oneM2M specifications and help raise awareness of oneM2M in the industry. The significant inclusion of bot
