S4M’s all-in-one broadcast management system with new applications
Solutions for Media showcases its latest release of Dynamics Media. The all-in-one broadcast management system is based on Microsoft’s business management software Dynamics AX and was now migrated to the new version Dynamics AX 2009. With this step, users gain further applications.
Dynamics Media represents S4M’s “nearly” out-of-the-box broadcast management solution and offers complete integration with other Microsoft technology like Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Business Intelligence or Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
Earlier this year, S4M has complemented its Dynamics family with the new air time sales module Dynamics AdSales. Since then, Dynamics Media consists of two modules, now both working on the new platform MS Dynamics AX 2009: Whereas Dynamics Broadcast provides for licence-, material and asset management as well as program planning, the AdSales module concentrates on air time sales tasks and traffic management.
More reporting options and new business intelligence features
By migrating to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, interface ergonomics of Dynamics Media were further enhanced, so that working with the system can be still more effective. In addition, business processes are flexibly defined and automated. The latest release of the S4M system also allows to optimize process management and controlling by offering an expanded range of reporting options and new business intelligence features. For example, generating reports has become very handy and users can easily generate ad-hoc reports in Microsoft Excel. Last but not least, the application of key performance indicators facilitates to keep a close eye on critical business processes in a dashboard view.
