LOVELAND, CO — (Marketwire) — 11/04/11 — announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to continue conducting security clearance background investigations on current and prospective federal employees, military personnel and contractors. KeyPoint has been performing background investigations for OPM since 2004, when it was retained by the agency as part of its plan to expand capacity for the field-work component of investigations.
This ID/IQ contract award, which was awarded to three companies, is follow-on to KeyPoint-s existing contract with OPM. If all options are exercised the contract will have a five year period-of-performance beginning 1 December 2011. The total ID/IQ value for all awardees is over $2.5B.
