BOSTON, MA — (Marketwire) — 10/28/11 — — RoboBusiness Leadership Summit
At the , Fanny Mlinarsky, President of , Inc., a wireless solutions and services company, will speak on and the company will demonstrate its wireless test product, . This product revolutionizes the way multi-radio devices such as smartphones are designed, tested and verified. It offers accurate Over The Air (OTA) testing of conventional and MIMO wireless devices in a customizable refrigerator-sized anechoic enclosure that replaces larger and more expensive chambers.

Abstract
Robots, particularly mobile robots, regularly employ wireless technology and interfaces (including GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS) for control and operation, and they can use multiple radio frequencies. These robots also frequently run mission-critical application under very hostile conditions, often in the presence of motion and interference. The cumulative effects are communication requirements that are difficult to meet and test. In this technical session, the development and testing of wireless communication for robotic systems will be reviewed, including:
Standards-based radio technologies
Proprietary radio technologies
Fundamentals of radio design
Test methods and metrics based on IEEE, 3GPP and CTIA wireless test standards
