Starnberg, 15th of September 2011 – ESTOS, an independent Unified Communications and CTI software vendor, announces the product launch of its
ECSTA for Mitel. This middleware is designed for use with PBX systems of the Mitel Communications Director (MCD) series. It allows MCD systems to now work with all TAPI-based Microsoft applications, particularly
ProCall 4.0 Enterprise, a solution for Unified Communications and CTI. As an independent software vendor, ESTOS offers a broad spectrum of middleware components designed for telephone & communications systems from many well-known manufacturers. Mitel is an international market leader in providing customized communications solutions for everyday office settings, and is listed on the NASDAQ (MITL).
With the ECSTA for Mitel, ESTOS presents a professional third-party TAPI driver and the first CSTA server designed for the Mitel MCD series (starting with Mitel 3300 ICP Release 9.0 or MCD 4.0). Before now, no CSTA interface was available for this type of system. Installed onto the MiTai interface, the ECSTA for Mitel provides a CSTA III server as well as a third-party TAPI TSP. This allows Mitel systems to work with TAPI-compatible solutions for CTI, call centers and Unified Communications – particularly ProCall 4.0 Enterprise from ESTOS.
