With over 35 sessions covering the breadth and depth of search innovation, this second annual European conference for the Lucene/Solr community has drawn presenters from both sides of the Atlantic united by a compelling vision: transforming the flood of structured and unstructured data into faster, more cost-effective search applications that span sectors and industries.
The conference, scheduled for October 19-20 in Barcelona, Spain, marks the 10th anniversary of the open source release of Lucene-s version 1.0, which became part of The Apache Software Foundation portfolio in the fall of 2001. Proceeds from the conference benefit The Apache Software Foundation.
