Unified Communications: Increase revenue with next generation software

Munich/Hallbergmoos, September 11 – The unified communications specialist ANDTEK GmbH has released its latest software release 4 of its standard solution with higher performance, improved scalability and clear usability using the web 2.0 interface. All imaginable business processes can now be carried out even more efficiently to reduce communication costs and increase revenue. Different kind of functions like e.g. encrypted voice recording or database access via IP phones are integrated on a single and flexible Linux platform and thus provide more transparency regarding the IP and telecommunications infrastructure.

As one of the few specialists of unified communications solutions the Munich-based ANDTEK GmbH has integrated various additional services on one single platform. With the new software version 4 of ANDTEK’s unified communications standard solution the platform is even more flexible and the user can choose the unified communications solution being suitable for a wide range of requirements. With ANDTEK’s solution the services are installed within a short time and maintenance is reduced to a minimum. With the new software version 4 the environment runs more effectively using a Web 2.0 based administrator interface.

The current version is based on a Red Hat Linux operating system. Beside an even higher performance this provides a considerably greater range of supported server platforms.

With the applications platform companies can optimize their business needs and manage their communications network even more efficiently, because services and communication channels are integrated into existing business applications like e.g. Microsoft Office environments or Customer Relationship Management tools.

ANDTEK’s product portfolio for the corporate communication via phone, browser, mobile device or computer contains four different modules each including value-added services.

In the field of Mobile Communication the unified communications software supports a wide range of smartphones like BlackBerrys and iPhones for multi-vendor deployments. Regarding business communication via mobile phones the user can have secure access to business data at any time anywhere.

Voice Recording permits the user to record IP-based telephone calls even during the conversation. Especially for call center environments there are advanced features like silent monitoring and whispering available. The recorded conversations are encrypted, protected of manipulation by signatures and thus legally compliant. This solution is predestined for businesses with high security needs like banks, insurers, contact centers and emergency services.

Solutions for Advanced Services and Applications include CRM services for telephony environments, phone lock services, surveillance functions, corporate database integration, enhanced manager/assistant and presence services or even emergency zone paging and crisis conferencing.

With CTI (Computer Telephone Integration) users can connect their phone with the computer and dial directly from the desktop (Outlook, Word, Messenger, etc.). Using the advanced version of ANDTEK-s CTI software delivers highly scalable attendant consoles even for globally operating organizations.
