21 November 2017 – London – Datacloud Europe, the premier networking and deal-making event for EMEA data centre and cloud leaders will open its newest chapter, Datacloud UK, in tandem with the revered Finance and Investment Forum (FIF), the annual meeting hub for parties investing in the datacentre and cloud industry, to create the UK’s definitive leadership congress for senior executives in the data economy.
Taking place at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square in London between the 31st January – 1st February 2018 the two industry-leading events will run back-to-back to provide a unique platform for executives to network and share knowledge on every aspect of the UK data centre and cloud sector.

On the first day, Datacloud UK will uniquely bring together enterprise customers with the leadership of data centre and cloud players, service providers, hosting, colocation and managed services companies.
Attended by senior executives in colocation, cloud, end user organizations, outsourcers and investors the event brings for the first time a unique focus on the UK. As competitor markets vie for post-Brexit opportunities, the event will showcase facilities and services, power availability and growth forecasts. Datacloud UK will be hosted by Lara Lewington, presenter and journalist BBC Click and event highlights include outstanding content, extensive networking and business deal-making opportunities.
FIF 2018 follows on the second day. The first Finance & Investment Forum took place at the Cass Business School in London in 2007 and since then it has become recognised as the only annual international meeting point for investors, operators, professional intermediaries and legal counsel focused on the datacentre and cloud sectors.
The objective of the one-day forum is to bring together stakeholders and players in finance and investment with cloud services, with leading investors, carrier neutral and carrier owned operational companies, government and regional investment authorities, property interests, and law firms to assess the market outlook and identify key opportunities, types of finance available, mergers and acquisitions, REITs and business models. FIF 2018 will be hosted by Philip Aldrick, economics editor The Times.
The 2018 congress will give increased focus to global opportunities and the impact of cloud and edge.
