Herisau, 8 November 2017: Leading international manufacturer of components and systems for optical and electrical connectivity, HUBER+SUHNER, will be showcasing the newest addition to its fiber management system IANOS® at Data Centre World Paris 2017, alongside its latest LISA high-speed installation fiber trays for improved accessibility. Experts will also be on hand to discuss the company’s Construction Product Regulation (CPR) portfolio at the HUBER+SUHNER stand (#E56) at the show, which takes place November 15-16 at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre.
The IANOS® system family is a state-of-the-art high-density fiber optic management system which facilitates fast, flexible and future-proofed connectivity in the data center. Its latest addition, the IANOS® lite 1U chassis, is designed for medium-density applications. This cost-effective solution is easy to install, offers fast MACs and is especially designed for colocation centers and enterprise.
“The way we communicate today is always changing, and data centers need more vital connectivity. Our IANOS® family is without a doubt the most advanced fiber management system today and able to adhere to these connectivity demands,” said Thierry Klejtman, Data Center Sales Manager at HUBER+SUHNER. “Service providers around the world rely on our high-density systems to connect incoming carriers to their valued customers, and this chassis is no different, facilitating fast and seamless patching of 72 MTP ports per 1U height.”
On display alongside the IANOS® portfolio will be the new LISA 3rd generation fiber trays, the side-facing connectivity blocks that are inserted into tray units within high-density Cable Distribution Racks (CDRs). Designed for speed of installation and improved accessibility, the LISA fiber trays can be installed and removed in under ten seconds without any need for specialist tools or skills.
HUBER+SUHNER’s wide portfolio of Construction Product Regulation (CPR) cables under the European Union law aims to ensure the protection of people’s health and safety in environments which demand high fire safety cables such as hospitals and long-term infrastructure builds, and visitors can discuss with HUBER+SUHNER at the show how it is achieving this goal.
The company will also present new premium additions to its KYPROS copper line which ensure that operators can use the full capacity and transmission distance of balanced copper infrastructure, without compromising flexibility and handling. HUBER+SUHNER will also showcase the Polatis optical switching solutions, which hold a proven track record in mission critical network applications in more than 2000 systems worldwide, as well as the optical transport carrier grade and cost-effective solutions, which maximise data rates and transmission distances between broadcast facilities.
“Data Centre World Paris is the country’s leading B2B event in the industry, and with many companies looking for innovative and successful solutions that respond to their needs of today and tomorrow, this is the perfect exhibition to showcase our revolutionary solutions such as LISA and IANOS® to thousands of industry professionals,” concluded Thierry.
