DE-CIX is the latest addition to NY1–s vast ecosystem of network services that customers can securely connect to within the facility via its physical Meet-Me Room (MMR) and virtual interconnection fabric. Customers can also access a multitude of transport, transit and public fabrics that are either built into the facility directly or via Webair–s MMR extensions to 60 Hudson St., 111 8th Ave. and 325 Hudson St. in New York. A Tier III-rated data center, NY1 is a carrier-neutral facility and features no monthly charge for cross-connects. The data center is also SAS SSAE 16 and HIPAA-certified, each critical for healthcare and financial services organizations to achieve strenuous compliance requirements.
