NEW YORK, NEW YORK — (Marketwired) — 07/19/16 — BLACKBERRY SECURITY SUMMIT – BlackBerry Limited (NASDAQ: BBRY)(TSX: BB), a global leader in secure mobile communications, and AppDome, the mobile app integration services company, today announced the availability of AppDome–s AppFusion service for the Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform from BlackBerry. With AppDome, applications can take advantage of Good Dynamics– specific secure workflow for enterprise apps without the need for developers to access the source code.
“In partnering with AppDome, we are expanding flexibility and enabling new features by making it easier for customers to easily integrate, use, protect and manage their enterprise apps on Good Dynamics,” said Billy Ho, Executive Vice President, Enterprise Product and Value Added Solutions, BlackBerry. “As we work to grow our enterprise ecosystem while enhancing all aspects of security and usability, we are providing businesses with unique alternative solutions to become more productive while also securing their data and content.”
Good Dynamics SDK is now available on AppDome–s AppFusion service. Customers using AppFusion can deploy Good–s SDK functionality within minutes. Administrators are then able to manage and modify existing features directly from the Good control management console. Some of the key app features available via the AppFusion service are: app provisioning, app and device management, secure communication, secure storage, compliance, policies, rooted and jailbroken detection, wipe and lock.
“AppDome–s mobile app integration service delivers a codeless, OS-independent alternative that reduces the time to market and eliminates the development burden for app owners,” said Tom Tovar, Chief Executive Officer, AppDome. “We are excited to work with BlackBerry and show customers that the Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform can be combined with their apps at enterprise scale without development, in minutes.”
AppDome–s patent-pending AppFusion technology operates automatically and dynamically and has zero impact on the user experience. This cuts down on lengthy development cycles and ongoing maintenance. By utilizing the Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform, organizations can ensure that every app deployed on the platform, whether core, ISV or custom-developed, can meet the demanding requirements of the mobile enterprise.
