Alliance Memory Selling Discontinued Micron Semiconductor Lead (Pb)-Bearing DDR, DDR2, and SDR SDRAMs

SAN CARLOS, CA — (Marketwired) — 06/09/16 — today announced that the company is selling double data rate (DDR), double data rate 2 (DDR2), and single data rate (SDR) devices that Micron discontinued with Micron PCN #31396 (last time buy: April 15, 2015; last time ship: Nov. 30, 2015).

“We–ve had great success providing continued support for Micron–s legacy 512M SDRAMs,” said David Bagby, president of Alliance Memory. “This has eliminated the need for the company–s customers to invest in redesigns, and we–ve committed to providing these 512M devices with their original part numbers into 2017. Furthermore, we will soon announce a new die revision that will make it an easy transition to our own pin-for-pin compatible parts. We–re pleased to expand this offering to include Micron–s EOL leaded devices, a move that firmly establishes us as the leader in the legacy memory market.”

Alliance Memory is offering a wide range of lead-bearing Micron devices, including 64M, 128M, 256M, and 512M SDR SDRAMs; 256M and 512M DDR SDRAMs; and 2G DDR2 SDRAMs. The devices are available in a variety of configurations, packages, and voltages, and are offered in commercial (0 degrees C to +70 degrees C) and industrial (-40 degrees C to +85 degrees C) temperature ranges.
