LOS ANGELES, CA — (Marketwired) — 04/18/16 — Hengtong announced its six-meter-long optical fiber preform at the 41st OFC exposition which just closed last March in Los Angeles, California.
This preform, the world–s longest to date, is newly developed by Hengtong Optic-Electric, China–s cable giant, which is a rising star in the world–s optical fiber communication. The length of optical fiber drawn by the six-meter-long preform can reach 15,000 km, according to Hengtong scientists.
