MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — (Marketwired) — 03/03/16 — VeloCloud Networks Inc., the , today announced that Michael Wood, VeloCloud VP of Marketing, has been selected to present on a panel titled “SD-WAN: Networking for the Cloud-based, Mobile, Real-Time Enterprise” at the Enterprise Connect Conference next week.
The panel, chaired by Zeus Kerravala, Founder and Principal Analyst at ZK Research, will be held from 1:30 pm – 2:15 pm EST on March 8 in the Sun D Room of the Gaylord Palms in Orlando, Fla.
As enterprises shift applications to the cloud, increase their reliance on mobility, and utilize more real-time traffic over IP, they face a dilemma in the wide area network (WAN): Traditional WAN architectures are becoming inefficient at best and crippling at worst. Enterprises are increasingly turning to Software-Defined WAN, or SD-WAN, technologies which leverage software-defined networking principles; create separation of control, data and management planes; and provide programmatic interfaces. Attendees to this panel will hear answers to their SD-WAN questions, including how this technology enables enterprises to deliver performance for cloud-based applications, assure reliable Internet access at the branch, and support real-time communications more efficiently.
VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN enables enterprises to support application growth, network agility and simplified branch implementations while delivering optimized access to cloud services, private datacenters and enterprise applications. Global service providers are able to increase revenue, deliver advanced services and increase flexibility by delivering elastic transport, performance for cloud applications, and integrated advanced services all via a zero-touch deployment model.
VeloCloud will demonstrate its Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN solutions in Booth #2203 at the show.
