Colleges and universities offer fewer scholarships today in the face of reduced state funding. The CIO Scholarship Fund, organized in 2002 by CIOs of leading technology organizations, offers scholarships to outstanding students who might not otherwise be able to pay for higher education. Students who have received money from the Fund are enrolled at colleges including DeAnza College, San Jose State University, San Francisco State University, and University of California at Berkeley.
“We are pleased to once again be involved in this important event,” said Paul Doscher, CEO of Exalead, US. “At Exalead, we appreciate the value of innovation and fully support all efforts to help all students gain the skills they need to become the next generation of innovators.”
The CIO Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament is a fun event bringing together hundreds of technology CIOs and leaders including more than 55 ambassadors from companies including Facebook, eBay, Intuit and Clorox who have pledged support to the CIO Scholarship Fund.
