Hoff joins Conexant from Silicon Labs, where he was senior vice president of worldwide sales. Hoff replaces Ahmed Nawaz, who is retiring after three years of exceptional leadership as he assisted in the transformation of Conexant into an audio and imaging leader.

In this role, Hoff will further establish Conexant–s leadership position in the audio and imaging markets. He will focus on developing and nurturing key customer relationships while overseeing Conexant–s global sales organization. With more than 25 years of experience managing sales and operations for technology companies, Hoff will play a key role as Conexant continues to expand its presence globally and respond to the large demand for its solutions.
At Silicon Labs, Hoff spent eight years leading the company–s global sales team in EMEA and the Asia Pacific region including China, Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Prior to joining Silicon Labs, Hoff served as president, CEO and director of Cognio, a spectrum management company. He has also managed sales and operations for C-Port Corporation, a network processor company acquired by Motorola, and held a variety of positions at Advanced Micro Devices. Hoff holds a Bachelor of Science in physics from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
