Apprio Appoints Sallie Sweeney as New Chief Information Security Officer

WASHINGTON, DC — (Marketwired) — 10/15/15 — Apprio, a leading provider of specialized technology solutions, particularly for the health, defense and homeland security markets, today announced the company has named Sallie Sweeney as chief information security officer. Sweeney brings more than 18 years of technology industry experience to Apprio and is widely regarded as an information security field expert.

Sweeney will oversee Apprio–s enterprise corporate information security program and the company–s government contract security services program. Prior to joining Apprio, she worked as security director for General Dynamics IT, where she managed a team of 16 security professionals and was responsible for nearly $1 billion total contract value for CMS engagements. Sweeney served as systems security officer for six significant CMS contracts (MSPSC, RDS, HCQIS, EACMS, VDC LSDR and VDC CCS) and was responsible for security oversight and contract deliverables for more than 30 FISMA systems.
