Ansible–s AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) modules will expose new security and access management capabilities to Ansible automation jobs in order to securely control access to AWS services and resources. Ansible users can now create playbooks that automate tasks like creating AWS users, groups, roles, and policies.
Together Ansible and AWS reduce the risks that are associated with cloud deployments, and enable IT organizations to more effectively manage and deploy cloud environments. Ansible integrates seamlessly with Amazon–s API for managing Amazon resources, and also brings the additional capability of automating tasks at the operating system and application layer, allowing system administrators and developers to automate their entire environment from the individual instance up through a multi-node, multi-service application stack.
