Antenna-s Krakow Technology Center was founded in late 2005, by the UK-based mobile web software company Volantis Systems, acquired by Antenna in January 2011. At its inception, the facility had five employees, but steadily added resources and capabilities as mobile web usage grew, fuelled by the adoption of Apple iPhone and Google Android smartphones and the consumer appetite for mobile content. In July 2011, Antenna hired its 100th employee and plans to continue to expand its Krakow team significantly over the next 12-18 months as demand for its services increases.
