SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwired) — 07/14/15 — Mobile personalization platform provider today announced a new alliance with Microsoft Azure Mobile Engagement.
The alliance will give existing Azure Mobile Engagement customers an easy way to add on VMob–s solution, giving them the full functionality of VMob–s personalization platform on top of Azure Mobile Engagement.
For VMob, the alliance with Azure means their solution will become more integrated and is the next step in maximizing use of Microsoft–s constantly evolving Azure services. Tighter integration with Azure enhances VMob–s solution agility and means VMob is able to deploy new services more quickly for new and existing customers.
“This alliance is a great step forward for us at VMob; it–s a welcome endorsement of our technology by Microsoft and also delivers additional functionality and flexibility to our own platform. We–re taking the great technical tools the Azure Mobile Engagement team have been doing and creating a solution specifically for retailers which can be deployed out of the box,” said Scott Bradley, CEO and Founder, VMob.
Azure Mobile Engagement offers a range of enhancements to VMob–s existing segmentation and push messaging functionality. With the VMob platform running overtop of Azure Mobile Engagement, marketers have an even greater ability to create engaging personalized campaigns.
“We are very happy to integrate our value-added Mobile Engagement services into VMob. This alliance gives Azure more functionality for retailers and brands with a physical presence — it–s a great way to extend the use of our services for new and existing customers,” said Laurent Lathieyre, Azure Mobile Engagement, Microsoft.
VMob is an end-to-end mobile personalization platform that lets retailers and other customer-facing brands create highly personalized marketing campaigns to reach customers at exactly the right time and place — resulting in much higher conversion rates.
The VMob platform integrates with the brand–s own smartphone app to continuously collect and store a range of real-time data (including location, movement speed, local weather and nearby events), combining it with information on past transactions through its IoT platform to deliver a level of personalized content not possible with other media.
Offers, campaigns and content personalized with this data are delivered within the smartphone app, and to other channels via API connections.
VMob was founded in Auckland, New Zealand and now has offices in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, London, Tokyo and Sydney and is listed on the NZX Alternative Market (NZAX: VML).
VMob has already achieved success in worldwide markets with strong partnerships and clients including McDonald–s, 7-Eleven, Exxon, Anheuser Busch, IKEA, Heart of the City, Spark New Zealand, Telkom Indonesia, Loyalty New Zealand, and Yellow Pages.
