BURLINGTON, MA — (Marketwired) — 06/17/15 — Altran, a global leader in innovation and high-tech engineering consulting, recently announced that Erol Ozkirbas has joined its North American team as chief operating officer for its Energy practice. Erol will have responsibility for directing the strategic vision for the Energy business and directing operations across North America, with a particular focus on driving sustained revenue growth for the distribution, generation, nuclear, renewables and oil and gas market segments.

Most recently, Erol was senior vice president of the Generation, Transmission and Distribution division at Burns and Roe, a consulting engineering firm specializing in the delivery of integrated solutions for the energy market. In this role, he guided the successful delivery of all projects and directed business development and sales operations.
Prior to Burns and Roe, Erol was vice president and general manager of operations at WorleyParsons, a leading provider of project delivery and consulting services to the resources and energy sectors and complex process industries. He had responsibility for directing operations and overseeing the profitability of engineering and construction management projects throughout North America and select global locations. Prior to taking over the management of the Reading, PA operations, Erol managed a WorleyParsons-led joint venture in the Tennessee Valley executing large power plant construction and maintenance projects.
Before Worley-Parsons, Erol held several senior management positions of increasing responsibility at Constellation Energy.
