UC Point has been recognized by Microsoft as Cloud Productivity Partner. This highlights UC Point’s competence and specialization in Microsoft cloud technologies, such as Office 365 and the online version of Skype for Business and Exchange. The distinguishing certification has currently only been awarded to a few Microsoft partners: only less than 3,000 companies worldwide. Next to the qualification as Cloud Productivity partner, being a Microsoft Gold Communications partner emphasizes UC Point’s expertise in the field of Unified Communications and Collaboration.
UC Point has been investigating cloud computing for some time. With continuous market research UC Point has recognized the importance to move to holistic UCC service offerings and solutions. For this reason, UC Point recently introduced a cloud-based UCC management platform – UCP RAM. The new tool enables customers to identify and respond to critical operating conditions of Media Gateways, Survivable Branch Appliances (SBA’s) and Session Border Controllers (SBC’s) before they result in downtimes. The intuitive dashboard provides continuous monitoring of the UCC ecosystem and ensures customers know which Skype for Business-features are being used most frequently to apply targeted user adoption strategies.
But it doesn’t stop there: UC Point supports national as well as international companies in the implementation of cloud-based Skype for Business solutions. In one of the most recent examples, the certified Microsoft partner successfully completed a large-scale international project with Paul Hartmann AG – a global producer and supplier of medical supplies. Blueprinting and realization were executed in close cooperation with Microsoft to ensure a smooth company-wide Skype for Business integration for 6,000 employees worldwide. Despite a complex infrastructure, as well as, varying legacy telephony and e-mail environments, the UC Point Engineers were able to secure a fluid migration in only twelve months.
