Bowman is currently a board member at several leading technology companies, including Atlassian and Couchbase, and was formerly on the board at Nimble Storage. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions at numerous category defining companies, such as VMware, EqualLogic, Nimble Storage, Atlassian and Parametric Technology. Additionally, Bowman is a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he teaches a course in building and managing professional sales organizations.
