Summit speakers included Luca Paderni of Forrester and Roy Vella, both of whom stressed the role of mobile in the lives of the hyper-connected consumer. Panelists also noted the rapid increase in mobile activity across their consumer base and their interest in using the type of mobile engagement features offered by Selligent–s omnichannel platform.
To prepare attendees for the technologies of the future, Selligent invited Max Doelle of Kazendi to host a marketing future lab that allowed participants to experiment with emerging technology, including beacons, Apple Watches and Samsung–s panorama mobile alerts. Selligent also gave Summit attendees beacons of their own to celebrate the addition of beacon-triggered push messaging to the Selligent software suite.
