The SSAE-16 SOC 2 audit is the most widely recognized certification that service providers can receive. The Altiscale SOC 2 audit examined its systems and practices, including data access controls, security monitoring, change management, incident response, risk management, and engineering and design activities. All of these were certified to meet the requirements of the SSAE-16 SOC 2 Common Criteria and the special controls for Security and Availability.
