Jonas and Patricia join the rapidly growing Zumobi team in the recently opened New York office, which also includes a previous hire, Bryan Henry, Sales Account Executive, who joined in March, 2011.

Jonas Abney is a digital media and publishing veteran. As an original member of the Google AdSense sales team, he played a critical role in the development of the larger AdSense network. He joins Zumobi most recently from Hachette-Filipacchi Media-s Digital Group, where he ran the business development group and oversaw strategic partnerships, e-commerce initiatives and content licensing for all of Hachette-s properties, including Elle and Car and Driver. Prior to his work at Hachette-Filipacchi Media, Jonas oversaw strategic partnerships and licensing for Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter as the Director of Business Development and Digital Strategy at Nielsen Business Media.

Prior to joining Zumobi, Patricia was the VP of Sales at 4INFO, a mobile media company that specializes in mobile advertising for businesses and free SMS alerts for consumers. Previously, she was the VP of National Sales at About.com, which was acquired by The New York Times for $410 million, the Eastern Director at GeoCities, which was acquired by Yahoo for $3.6 billion, and the Eastern Director at AltaVista, which was acquired by Overture in 2003. Patricia has also worked at major media companies in both traditional and digital interactive roles including Hearst Magazines and Fox Interactive Media.
