OTTAWA, ONTARIO — (Marketwired) — 04/20/15 — Calian Technologies Ltd. (TSX: CTY) is pleased to announce that Calian–s Health Services team has been awarded an $11 million contract to provide nursing services to a major oil sands mining project in Western Canada.
Calian will be providing quality nursing services in support of both the occupational and non-occupational health care requirements for this project–s 5,000+ person operation. Calian will support the operational needs of the site–s– Medical Centre 24 hours a day, seven days a week in accordance with the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations for an isolated workforce. The contract starts May 1st, 2015 and runs for a period of five years.
