MONTREAL, QUEBEC — (Marketwired) — 03/19/15 — TELUS Health, Canada–s leading Electronic Medical Records (EMR) provider, today completed its acquisition of Medesync, a certified EMR product, which will bring a web-based interface to TELUS– EMR portfolio in Quebec. Medesync uses the latest cloud-based and mobile technologies to bring physicians anywhere, anytime, access to EMRs from any computer or mobile device.
Medesync–s EMR technology features a number of tools for managing and accessing all aspects of a clinic–s operations, including scheduling, clinical encounters, prescribing, billing and electronic lab results. Additionally, it provides strong reporting capabilities and dashboards to assist medical professionals and clinical staff with at-a-glance access to key information. The solution addresses both the needs of general practitioners and specialists.
