HERNDON, VA — (Marketwire) — 07/26/11 — has launched a customer advisory council to help the LMS software maker stay ahead of the specific training and development challenges facing a wide array of industries. Meridian is already soliciting feedback from its newly created council to develop products and round out its existing lineup of technologies. Meridian-s flagship product, the Meridian Global LMS, delivers, manages and reports on training via the internet.
Members of the inaugural advisory council include executives from The Auto Club Group, AutoZone, CSX Corporation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Land O-Lakes, Motorola Solutions, PMI, Sodexo, the State of Oregon, and VCA Antech.

Council members will serve a one- or two-year term and meet regularly throughout the year to advise Meridian on trends, research and product development.
