CUPERTINO, CA — (Marketwired) — 03/16/15 — Inc., the company that enables businesses to create extraordinary customer relationships with the most innovative, flexible and affordable CRM solution in the market, and Deutsche Telekom–s Systems Solutions Unit, T-Systems, today announced that T-Systems just went live with its SugarCRM Software hosting service in Germany and is reselling Sugar as a hosted cloud solution on its infrastructure. The partnership makes it easy for enterprises in Germany, Switzerland and Austria to quickly implement large Sugar deployments, while complying with regulations for data security and privacy.
BVMW, The German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses, is one of SugarCRM and Deutsche Telekom–s first joint customers. BVMW representatives make more than 700,000 contacts each year to represent the interests of the organization–s 270,000 member companies. In the past, individual BVMW offices separately managed member contacts with several different systems. The inability to share and synchronize information across systems was increasingly tedious and time-consuming. BVMW selected Sugar, powered by Deutsche Telekom, as its corporate CRM to give individual representatives across all of its offices a single platform to more effectively manage relationships with member organizations. BVMW is also using Sugar to create, manage and analyze marketing campaigns targeted to its members.
“BVMW has a long standing partnership with Deutsche Telekom,” said Bernd Adamaschek, CEO at BVMW, The German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses. “We know that their operations and services meet the most stringent standards for Internet ??security and data privacy in Germany and their data centers and servers are in Germany — that is most important for us. Together with SugarCRM–s innovative and highly flexible CRM platform this is a perfect solution for our business needs.”
In September 2014, SugarCRM and Deutsche Telekom entered a strategic global partnership to deliver enterprise-ready CRM for security-conscious companies across central Europe. T-Systems data centers comply with the strictest interpretations of local data privacy regulations. Customers also have the option of deploying Sugar on premises thanks to Sugar–s highly flexible deployment model.
The agreement also includes T-Systems– operations and services. T-Systems consultants and integration partners support customers with the design and implementation of advanced CRM systems and additional critical data source integrations. While the deployment currently targets enterprise customers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, there are plans to expand the deployment to T-Systems data centers worldwide later this year.
“We are very pleased to have brought this vital business solution to market so quickly,” said Frank Siemon, vice president, Sales Global Business Operations Program Management, T-Systems. “By adding Sugar to our portfolio of services, we enable German enterprises to build extraordinary customer relationships, and continue to build our reputation for providing best-of-breed business solutions based on the world–s most advanced technologies and infrastructure.”
“Deutsche Telecom is the ideal partner to bring secure enterprise CRM services to the European market,” said Larry Augustin, SugarCRM CEO. “This is a unique offering: industry-leading CRM, data security, data privacy under German law, and hosted by Deutsche Telekom. This is a perfect embodiment of our strategy of proactively enabling regional and industry-specific SaaS partners to deliver Sugar-based services that address the diverse needs of enterprise customers.”
