On the heels of strong quarterly earnings driven by cloud revenue, Oracle further boosts its position with new offices in San Francisco for public cloud product development. Drawing from the area–s renowned talent, the company aims to hire creative engineers to inspire and lead next-generation platforms and infrastructure. This week, Oracle is hosting HackerX events in San Francisco and Santa Clara to offer interview and networking opportunities with key Oracle recruiters and top Oracle executives.

To support next-generation cloud development, Oracle revealed its new cloud engineering center in San Francisco.
Oracle–s expanded presence will support the company–s recent cloud momentum, including strategic executive hires, innovation centers, and strong revenues.
Cloud veteran Peter S Magnusson will take charge of Oracle–s engineering expansion throughout San Francisco and Silicon Valley, including Santa Clara, Redwood Shores, and Berkeley in California, as well as Boulder Creek, Colorado, and Seattle, Washington. International development centers are being expanded in Bristol, UK as well as Cape Town, South Africa.
Two HackerX recruitment events are taking place this week: in San Francisco this past Tuesday, and in Santa Clara tonight (Thursday) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tonight–s recruitment event will include Q&A with both Peter S Magnusson and Thomas Kurian, President, Product Development.
