DENVER, CO — (Marketwired) — 12/22/14 — Altitude Digital, a leading video supply side platform (SSP), today announced that Manny Puentes has been named Chief Technology Officer, reinforcing the company–s mission to develop advertising technology that provides greater efficiency and smarter inventory management and monetization for publishers.
Puentes will lead Altitude Digital–s technology team and oversee all product and engineering efforts with a focus on expanding Altitude–s ARENA supply side platform technology. Three primary initiatives for 2015 include: inventory quality management, programmatic technology, and mobile advertising.
As display CPMs trend downward, publishers are increasingly focused on growing their video opportunity and revenue. To accomplish this, publishers need robust tools and technology to ensure impressions are viewable and free of fraud. Puentes and his team will continue to develop technology to address these issues by integrating traffic quality tools and viewability solutions, while also expanding Altitude–s programmatic capabilities and developing mobile video solutions for publishers.

Prior to joining Altitude Digital, Puentes was CTO for Lijit, where he led an engineering team that built and operated one of the web–s largest real-time advertising, bidding and delivery infrastructures. He continued in that role after Federated Media Publishing acquired the company.
In conjunction with the addition of Puentes, Altitude Digital plans to triple the size of its technology team through strategic hires in early 2015. Puentes will be based in Denver, Colorado.
