4Cable Receiving Purchase Orders for Its Patent-Pending RF2F(TM) Converter

CONWAY, SC — (Marketwired) — 12/18/14 — 4Cable TV International, Inc. (OTCQB: CATV) (“4Cable” and/or the “Company”), a global manufacturer of outdoor equipment for cable and broadband transmission providers, is pleased to announce that the Company has begun receiving purchase orders from cable system operators across the country for its Patent-Pending RF2F (Coaxial to Fiber Optic) Converter technology. 4Cable previously announced that several top-tier Multi-System Operators (MSOs) and independent cable companies have approved the RF2F technology and have authorized it for purchase. The Company now confirms that purchase orders are coming in from those MSOs and RF2F converters are being shipped.

“The first sales of 4Cable–s RF2F into the cable system market are a significant achievement for the Company and further validates that cable and broadband providers are beginning to recognize the enormous potential of the RF2F converter to expand their subscriber bases,” said 4Cable TV International, Inc. President, Mr. Steven K. Richey. 4Cable–s RF2F converts RF (coaxial) signals to fiber optic signals to permit cable operators to extend their service areas up to an additional 10,000 feet. This expanded coverage area allows the cable operator to extend service lines to previously un-serviced customers. “We will be working closely with our national sales representative network to highlight the cost benefits and effectiveness of our technology to allow MSOs to reach potential cable customers who, until now, have been outside of the cable companies service area.”

“The first step was getting the RF2F authorized for purchase by cable system operators,” said Mr. Gene Faulkner, 4Cable–s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Operators needed to test and verify for themselves that the RF2F was able to deliver the results we had promised. Now that the RF2F has cleared the approval process, we are starting to see several cable companies submit purchase orders.”

“The typical expense of extending service beyond a cable company–s existing –end-of-service– point can be several thousand dollars,” continued Mr. Faulkner. “4Cable–s RF2F is a low-cost solution to that problem; extending high quality, high bandwidth service by up to 10,000 feet and allowing cable operators to provide service to previously un-serviceable customers at a fraction of the cost.”
