The Cyclo 505 models are the first cycling GPS computers to provide Bluetooth® Smart connectivity. This allows the devices to directly receive text messages and call notification alerts, when paired with an iPhone or Android smartphone*. Likewise, if a rider uses a Bluetooth headset (sold separately), they could answer an incoming call or set up an automatic voicemail response. Cyclo–s Bluetooth support also allows riders to control music playlists directly from the device.
Additionally, Cyclo 505 models provide wireless connectivity, so riders can wirelessly sync ride data directly to the Magellancyclo.com website, no matter where they are. Users can configure their Magellan Cyclo website account to automatically save ride data to their Strava, Training Peaks or Endomondo account.
When training/riding indoors, the two Cyclo 505 models allow users to create an indoor cycling profile that disables GPS functionality, but still measures speed, cadence, heart rate, and power. Once paired with an ANT+ capable trainer, the rider can control the grade and the amount of wind and track/ground resistance.
All Cyclo 315 and Cyclo 505 models are available at leading independent bike shops and sporting goods retailers across the U.S, as well as through prominent etailers.
