FAIRFAX, VA — (Marketwired) — 11/20/14 — InfoReliance has been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for up to $92 million over a five-year period of performance to support its move to the Microsoft cloud-based email and enterprise collaboration solution.
Under this BPA, InfoReliance will provide the solutions and services necessary for HHS to transition existing email applications and collaboration solutions to the Microsoft Office 365 Email as a Service (EaaS) solution that is hosted in a Government Community Cloud (GCC). This will result in improvements in collaboration, efficiency, agility, innovation, and cost savings.
HHS joins the vast majority of Cabinet level agencies, which, in whole or in part, have moved to Microsoft cloud computing solutions. The move to a cloud-based EaaS environment will enable HHS employees to collaborate more efficiently, allowing them to successfully meet their mission to provide the building blocks that Americans need to live healthy, successful lives. It also supports the overall agency and federal initiatives outlined in the to improve efficiency and reduce overall operating costs, while improving citizen-facing services.
InfoReliance will leverage its own IT integration expertise, as well as its collaboration with to deliver the most effective enterprise collaboration environment for HHS.
