CHICAGO, IL — (Marketwired) — 10/28/14 — ArrowStream, Inc. (“ArrowStream”), a leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for supply chain management, announced it will continue to offer managed logistics services to Quality Supply Chain Co-op, Inc. (“QSCC”). QSCC is the second-largest purchasing co-op in the food service industry and supports Wendy–s restaurants in North America.

ArrowStream began collaborating with the Wendy–s system in 2007. Together, they established a logistics program that emphasizes network optimization and cold chain performance.
ArrowStream–s Managed Services team used Crossbow, ArrowStream–s SaaS solution that bridges the gap between purchasing and logistics, to identify and execute freight consolidation opportunities. ArrowStream expanded QSCC–s relationships with suppliers, distributors, and carriers to standardize procedures which significantly reduced the number of refused loads and stock-outs.
As a result of this program, QSCC has seen notable process improvements and experienced more control over product costs, allowing the company to provide uninterrupted service to its customers. With this contract renewal, ArrowStream will continue to support QSCC–s logistics operations with carrier bid preparations, continual network analysis, KPI reporting, business reviews, and overall logistics best practices.
