DataWind was awarded for its pioneering efforts in creating breakthrough technologies to bridge the digital divide. Former President of Mexico, Mr Vincete Fox, presented the award to Suneet Singh Tuli, President and CEO of DataWind at CITEK (Culture Information Technologies Energy Knowledge) Forum in Mexico.
Suneet Singh Tuli, President and CEO, DataWind spoke about DataWind–s efforts in bridging the digital divide at the Fifth Annual Forum of the Business Call to Action Alliance (BCtA), an initiative of the UNDP, held in conjunction with the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The BCtA convention brought together senior executives from prominent Business Call to Action member companies as well as senior representatives from governments, bilateral donors, civil society and the United Nations. DataWind–s efforts towards bridging the digital and education divide have been included by BCtA in their report .
