Sophos Law Client Pawzii Wins Prize for Its Pioneering Pet Licensing Platform

The edge3 FUND is for small businesses with a unique, creative or innovative idea. The cash prize is $20,000.

Pawzii is a one-stop pet license mobile platform that lets pet owners license their pets directly from their smartphones, tablets or desktop computers. Based out of Seattle, Pawzii works with animal shelters, state agencies and local municipalities to make it simple to license pets online — the safest protection against losing pets. Currently, Pawzii works with Kitsap Humane Society, Seattle Animal Shelter, Regional Animal Services of King County and Pierce County to sell pet licenses online, with plans to expand to the national level. With the purse prize, Pawzii plans to develop additional technology and scale the business to a wider audience.
