The HD-over-IP encoder uses JPEG 2000 intra-frame compression encoding, which transmits every single video frame unaffected by artifacts or delay. This solution also decodes IP signals back to decompress them for HD video output on remote screens.

In addition, the HD-over-IP encoder has very low latency, which makes it a good option for streaming live video fast in broadcast production, medical imaging, military, and command and control room applications.
