NorthStar recently completed an independent audit in accordance with the global security certification standards outlined by the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 report (ISO 27001). An ISO 27001 certification is recognized as the most comprehensive security program and audit across all industries, verifying that an organization possesses the optimal combination of people, processes and technology controls to operate, monitor and maintain an information security management system (ISMS) that meets rigorous international guidelines.

The process concluded in June 2013, when NorthStar received a recommendation for certification after BSI finished its final audit report.
