Winland Reports Q3 2013 and Nine-Month Results

MANKATO, MN — (Marketwired) — 11/08/13 — Winland Electronics, Inc. (OTCQB: WELX) today reported sales of environmental monitoring products of $977,000 for the third quarter ended September 30, 2013, a decrease of $164,000, or 14.4 percent in the comparable period in 2012.

The Company reported a net loss of $669,000, or $0.18 per basic and diluted share, for the three months ended September 30, 2013 compared to a net loss of $114,000, or $0.03 per basic and diluted share, in the third quarter of 2012.

Product sales for the nine months ended September 30, 2013 were $2,719,000, down $48,000, or 1.7 percent from the same period last year. Winland reported a net loss of $1,909,000, or $0.51 per basic and diluted share, for the nine months ended September 30, 2013, compared to a net loss of $282,000, or $0.08 per basic and diluted share, for the same period in 2012.

The Company-s full financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2013 will be included in its Form 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
