TORONTO, ONTARIO — (Marketwired) — 10/25/13 — Compugen Inc. today announced it has been honoured by the naming of its CEO and President Harry Zarek as Executive of the Year in the 2013 Solution Provider 500 list, sponsored by The Channel Company-s CRN. The Solution Provider 500 awards span eight categories and recognize those Solution Provider 500 companies that have evolved and thrived in today-s cloud- and services-driven IT era.
Under Zarek-s direction for over 30 years, Compugen has grown to become one of Canada-s largest IT solutions and services providers, and ranked 58th in CRN-s SP500 list this year.
The Solution Provider 500 ranking is based on revenue size, determined by the amount of annual products and services sold over the course of 2012. Companies with no public documentation were required to submit a notarized affidavit attesting to their 2011 and 2012 revenues. The Solution Provider 500 awards selection panel sought to recognize companies that are building out practices around innovation and social responsibility while offering software integration and application development skills.
