PALO ALTO, CA — (Marketwired) — 10/22/13 — Ayasdi () today announced that joined the company as the VP of Sales. He is responsible for all Sales and Business Development functions in the company and reports directly to , Co-Founder and CEO of Ayasdi. Shane joins Ayasdi from SAP Americas where he was the VP of Sales responsible for high-tech and manufacturing, including responsibility for selling HANA, SAP-s analytics and Big Data platform.

Shane spent the past 7 years at SAP and was part of the business analytics and technology sales effort that launched SAP HANA — driving sales and customer adoption from product launch to maturity — and propelled it into a market leadership position. Prior to joining SAP, Shane was part of the founding team at FocusFrame, a management consulting firm and reseller of the SAP TAO product, which was acquired by SAP. He brings over 15 years of enterprise sales management, sales execution, and management consulting experience. He also had meritorious service in the United States Army.
