Salem has joined the WildPackets board after a long and successful career serving in leadership positions at high-technology security firms. Most recently, Salem was president, CEO and director of Symantec from 2009 to 2012. Prior, he served as president and CEO of Brightmail from 2002 to 2004, before its acquisition by Symantec in 2004. Salem currently serves on President Obama-s Management Advisory Board, offering advice from his private-sector experience to improve federal government management and operations.
