NEW YORK, NY — (Marketwired) — 09/30/13 — MRY (), a leading creative and technology agency, announced today the launch of “Make It with Creative Cloud,” a global Adobe campaign designed to provide aspiring creatives with otherwise unattainable professional opportunities. The campaign focuses the lens on students and highlights amazing creative work being produced at all levels across a vast range of disciplines.
“We-ve had the pleasure of working with Adobe for the last few years and we couldn-t be more proud to launch this campaign, which at its heart highlights the creativity and ideas that fuel our industry,” said Matt Britton, CEO of MRY. “Adobe-s Creative Cloud is uniformly recognized as the tool of the global creative class and this new campaign will help students around the world to achieve personal and professional stardom.”
The campaign, which complements the school calendar, consists of a year-long program of activity that will mix channels and activations around the globe to position Adobe as the facilitator of creative ambition for students. Program components include:
Students selected earlier this year were filmed in micro-documentaries within their own workspaces and profiled on their creative inspirations and process. These students, as well as others, will be part of an ongoing highlights feed spanning across Adobe.com, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, on campuses in digital display media, out-of-home print and digital screens and even in retail.
Forgoing the standard one-off design contests that offer little else than bragging rights in small circles, Adobe is working with global brands, such as a charitable organization (RED), to allow students to collaborate and create with professionals on actual products that will be seen worldwide. By sharing their portfolios, students have the opportunity to collaborate with pioneering graffiti artist Futura on digital album artwork for (RED)-s forthcoming 2013 compilation, -DANCE (RED) SAVE LIVES 2- releasing in the weeks prior to World AIDS Day on December 1.
A global network of student representatives will be active on campus throughout the school year. These ambassadors will not only generate awareness of Adobe Creative Cloud, but will also host learning workshops, creative contests and facilitate additional opportunities with global partners.
Adobe® Creative Cloud gives students all the tools to express themselves and make their mark — on campus and beyond. The Adobe Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition is an ongoing membership that gives access to all the latest and greatest Adobe creative software and services, including Photoshop® CC, Illustrator® CC, InDesign® CC, and Adobe Muse CC.
