(arvato Systems) Gütersloh, Germany — The eCommerce trade event inCOMMERCE goes into the second round on September 26th 2013 in Hamburg. The event is initiated by hybris, an SAP company and the world’s fastest-growing commerce platform provider, and the IT systems integrator arvato Systems. At the second inCOMMERCE e-commerce decision makers will have the opportunity to listen to a selection of well-founded talks on eCommerce strategies for global trade. And a must for the inCOMMERCE hosts: the annual event is also a get-together platform allowing networking and sharing of experience.
“In the eCommerce business, there is no right or wrong approach to manage the challenges of globalization,” explained Michael Hubrich, Country Manager Deutschland at hybris. “But there are definitely effective strategies that companies aiming at internationalizing their businesses should take into consideration. Our reputable experts in the field of e-commerce will present some of these strategies at the inCOMMERCE.”
“We are pleased to be able to offer decision makers from a wide variety of sectors the ideal framework this year again to learn from the rich and valuable experience and know-how of e-commerce experts and to gain ideas for their proven global commerce strategy,” said Dr. Martin Anduschus, Vice President at arvato Systems.
Again this year, the inCOMMERCE program is tailored to the interests and needs in the eCommerce sector and offers informative and varied presentations, as an extract from the agenda shows:
• “Establishing a Global eCommerce Presence“: Martin Gill, Principal Analyst eBusiness & Channel Strategy Professionals, Forrester Research will especially highlight the differences from a local e-commerce strategy, in order to present in a second step approaches for creating a world-wide successful e-commerce presence.
• “Future Labs by ECE“: Alexander Cruesemann, Project Manager at ECE Projektmanagement GmbH & Co.KG, will present the first findings of the ECE pilot project examining the service offers borrowed from the online world for shopping centers. Since March 2013, ECE has been testing in two German shopping centers numerous service offerings, mostly originating from the online world, and designed to allow for a more comfortable shopping experience for their visitors.
