As a trusted industry professional, Rheinheimer will bring expertise on critical emerging education and technology trends including virtual curriculum planning, strategic University partnerships and interactive technology integration.

Rheinheimer served as Vice President of Strategy & Innovation in the K-12 Technology Group of , where he focused on next generation learning platforms, the evolution of intelligent content and learner engagement. Rheinheimer joined Pearson by way of the Chancery Software acquisition, where he was the Executive VP of Sales and Marketing for four years, working closely with emerging technology solutions. After joining Pearson in 2006, Rheinheimer was VP and GM of K-12 Integrated Learning Solutions (a joint effort between eCollege and Pearson School Systems) and Chief Marketing Officer of the Pearson School Systems group. Rheinheimer was recently announced as an executive with Avantas, LLC, a leading provider of strategic labor management technology, services, and strategies for the healthcare industry.
Rheinheimer has an MBA in Marketing from Villanova University and has completed executive education coursework at Harvard Business School. He is also an honorary member of the Learning Resources Metadata Initiative (LRMI), which is a joint effort between the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Hewlett Foundation.
