SEOUL, KOREA — (Marketwired) — 09/10/13 — Daum communications (KOSDAQ: 035720), one of South Korea-s largest portal, has unveiled -WITH- today, an album based social networking service that allows multiple users to upload images to the same album.
WITH was named after its core concept of sharing photos and albums with friends. As users share their photos on the same album, they get to share their stories at the same time which will later add up to another big story. Also, a -W- shaped app icon with a camera lens on represents the service name WITH.
This beautifully designed app provides the best user experience by simplifying the process of sharing photos with friends. Users can form friendships fast, create albums and upload photos by going through only a few steps. One of the strongest features of WITH is that it allows users to form friendships instantly. Every single WITH user on the user-s contact list will automatically be added as the user-s WITH friend, and there is no need to go through complicated process of offering and accepting friendships. At -Newsfeed- section, users can check newly updated albums or photos in a full screen, and leave comments or reactions.
In -My- section, users can categorize and organize their photos by uploading them to different albums. There is no size limit when uploading photos to album, but when uploading photos only, users can upload up to 100 photos simultaneously.(Max: 500 MB) WITH also allows users to upload photos at their original size, so it can be convenient to store big size images.
Shared albums will automatically appear on the invited friend-s album list. For instance, if you create an album called -Summer Vacation 2013- and invite two of your friends who spent the vacation with you, a total of three users can upload images to the shared album. In a nutshell, WITH helps you to skip through the process of sharing photos through messenger apps or e-mails after a trip. Moreover, WITH can be used for various purposes. Parents can record their children-s growth on it; and couples can keep their own secret albums. Classmates and alumni can also share their good old school photos.
