This new automated functionality includes an API (Application Program Interface) to the Library Server, a CLI scripting capability, support for hands-free operations and the ability to create boot ISO images in the field.

With the ability to create boot ISOs in the field, SanXfer has again distanced itself from its competitors who require that their technical specialists get involved in the mundane and time-consuming task of creating boot ISOs, which can add many days, weeks, even months to the migration process.
When migrating data from one platform to another (whether heterogeneous or homogeneous, iSCSI or Fibre Channel), SanXfer-s Data TranXfer feature now provides the ability to bypass file system overhead and perform block-based (raw) disk migrations.
