A new version 2.0 of ClipJOCKEY, S4M’s popular studio production tool, will be available for the first time. ClipJOCKEY provides broadcasters with an easy and affordable path to file-based workflows and a way to get more functionality from their video server investments. Expanding on the success of enabling tapeless studio production and multi-channel playout, S4M has added support for Harris Nexio video servers as well as new functionality for hot-swapping server ports and simplifying advanced “Live On Tape” or Rollback Recording.
ClipJOCKEY has become the chosen solution for many broadcasters worldwide, with recent success stories from QVC Shopping Channel, MLB Networks, University of Texas, German broadcasters such as RTL Television, NDR, MDR, and many others who have all combined ClipJOCKEY with their existing video servers from Omneon, Harris, Quantel, or Grass Valley.
As a result, these companies can now effortlessly manage and play out newsroom rundowns, record or play out multiple channels simultaneously, perform archive/ingest operations as batch jobs, or even record and prepare shows for airing faster than before.
“With version 2.0, ClipJOCKEY has really become an advanced and mature solution, worthy of the trust our customers place in us,” says Manfred Heinen, CEO of S4M.
S4M will present its solutions VPMS and ClipJOCKEY in booths N6229 – N6231, where they will exhibit together with Annova Systems, manufacturer of the OpenMedia newsroom system. ClipJOCKEY will also be shown in the stands of Harris (N2502) and Omneon (SL2005); S4M’s Broadcast Management System Dynamics Media will be presented exclusively at the Microsoft stand (SL3812)
